Our Pet's Vet is excited to introduce acupuncture to our available services!
Dr. Brenes is currently training with IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) for her veterinary acupuncture certification.
Acupuncture therapy has been practiced for thousands of years on both humans and animals. It is a safe practice in which the doctor places needles at specific points of the body in order to stimulate natural healing processes. Acupuncture can be used as a preventative therapy as well as a treatment for existing illnesses or conditions. This holistic therapy is also very effective when used along with modern Western medicines.
If you are interested in learning more about how acupuncture therapy may be able to help your pet, IVAS is a great learning resource. Click here to go to the IVAS website.
